Make America Great Again
Make America Great Again («MAGA») is propagandist slogan popular at the USA.
Some examples and variations of this slogan are collected here.
Budapest memorandum
The simplest criterion of «greatness» refers to the ability to implement guaranties and promises already given by the USA administration.
At the beginning of century 21, this applies to ability of the USA to follow the guarantees specified in the Budapest memorandum.
The main problem in the implementation is related to very important question:
What do we care for memorandum signed many years ago?
Similar question is mentioned in The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling [2].
The idea to defend the basic achievements of the Human civilization is expressed with the bilingual song:
Вставай, страна огромная,
Make America Great Again;
И пусть сгниёт Лубянка темная,
Let the Prudence be clear and plain!
Мы все за прогресс,
We all, against the war!
Долой КПСС,
We shall be greater more and more!
We'll see, the Prudence works
Без кагебешных схем;
Defeat the putin's orks,
И нам поможет Uncle Sam!
It may seem to be easier to plunder a land from a peaceful country than
to deal with a state sponsor of terrorism.
For this reason, the ideas of ignorance the International Law are popular. This case is considered in the next section.
Annexation of Greenland, Panama, Canada and Mexico
One of possible interpretation of word «Great» of the slogan refers to the territorial expansion of the USA, seizing and annexing the nearby territories.
This may refer to the project of annexation of Greenland [3] shown in figure at right.
Such an expansion may look profitable as it looked profitable the annexation of Austria and Sudetenland for Germany in 1938 or the Soviet invasion into Afghanistan in 1979.
The sad historic examples show that such a «greatness» easy leads to the collapse of the Empire; see «I bombed Dresden», «Collapse of the USSR».
The idea of annexation of Greenland may be boosted by the wild fires in California in 2025 January. The faults in the Californian administrative system leaded to the money laundering on the national projects that were supposed to protect the residents. The idea of relocation from hot California to regions with less fire danger like Greenland is supposed to give some hopes to the petiole who had lost their properties in the wild fire.
TrumpForever
Hisorically, the idea to extend the territory of the USA is related to projects by Dolanld Trump.
It seems to be impossible to annex Greenland during the 4 years (2025-2029) of Donald Trump. So, the idea looks as a good pretext to extend rulling of Trump: «TrumpForever».
Ways of such an extension are discussed [6].
2025.01.23, Andy Ogles, suggests to extend term of presidentship of Trump [4]
The annexation of new territories is not easy, and perhaps, cannot be realized firing 4 years assigned for the Trump presidentship.
This causes the project of demountage of the USA democracy, replacing it with authocratic monarchy with Donald Trump as king, as the Emperor.
This project is expressed with slogan «TrumpForever». The prohect implies that America as autocratic empire can be greater than the United States as they are specified in the USA constitution. In this sense, the slogan «TrumpForever» can be qualified as anti-constitutional.
However, due to the freedom of speech, this slogan is difficult to prohibit.
Informal fallacy
The main idea of thesis Make America Great Again seems to be de-facto substitution of initial goal of state (prudence) to some formal criteria beneficial for some offee.
For the prosperity of a society, everyone should do his primary job. In democratic countries, the state and laws had been designed to regulate relations between Humans, to avoid crimes, to provide the honest competition of businesses, to avoid misinformation, etcetera.
In this sense, the primary goal of any prudent state is implementation of the Law, avoiding frauds, monopolies, cartels, indicates, concerns, etc. Then the economic laws by Adam Smith work and provide phenomena called «economic marvel», fast growth of industry and incomes of the population.
Sometimes some not so honest offee try to avoid fulfillment of the promises, restricting the public attention to some fuzzy statements. The idea Make America Great Again seems to be such a case.
Instead of to analyze the errors, mistakes that had converter Great America to small america, the ambitious projects and goals are suggested, with doubtful hints of the ways of the implementation and without analysis of the historic precedents, without analysis of possible risks.
The idea to plunder Greenland, Panama, etc. instead of implementation of guaranties of the USA by the Budapest memorandum seem to be namely this case.
This looks as if the electrical engineer, instead of providing smart and save electric power supply, distracts the attention of the customers with funny illumination.
The administrative system of the USA has survived during centuries; so, one may expect, the USA survive the crazy programs about the «Global Warming», «National Ignition Facility», «Make America Great Again». To year 2025, the ability of the USA to make new debts still exceeds the expenses related with the money laundering on the ambitious projects. In particular, the attempts to implement the slogan MAGA is not expected to cause a collapse of the USA (similar to collapse of the USSR in 1990).
On the first glance, an attempt to Make America Great Again look as an attempt to break the International Law and to destroy the USA with vain, fake goals.
On the other hand, up to year 2025, no any serious historic model is constructed on the base of publications about «Make America Great Again».
The analogies with the Second Iraq War and the American Mission in Afghanistan
do not suggest any soon catastrophe for the USA.
It seems to be just a propagandist trick, similar to the promise to stop the Russia-Ukraine war «in 24 hours» [7],
as a demonstration of an animal suddenly appeared from a hat of an illusionist (see figure at right).
This trick district the attention from the important faults:
Failure of the USA to implement the guarantees specified in Budapest memorandum.
Failure of the USA in export of democracy to Afghanistan.
Failure of the USA to provide efficient system of extinguishing of wildfire in California.
Nobody expects the illusionist to supply a restaurant with the fresh meat exploiting his trick.
Nobody expects that the usurper decleared as president with the election fraud nor his party will provide prudence and prosperity for his country, but the people are impressed with the efficiency of the fraud; many persons try to get some benefits joining the fraud.
In the similar way, nobody had expected Donald Trump to stop the Putin world war in one day. The people are impressed with the abilities of the artist to show something non-realistic, something impossible, and the people like such an artist; that is all. In the similar way, the people like and artist who performs a funny anekdote.
Within 10 years since the beginning of the Russian invasion into Ukraine, neither the USA nor the UK had implemented the guarantees specified in the Budapest memorandum. Various «strong worries» and «deep concerns» are observed instead, see picture at right, with some moderated help from side of the Anti-Putin coalition.
One may expect that next time when any representative of the USA or the UK suggests some «guaranties» to any country, the questions will arise, what king of compensation fee from the USA or the UK can be achieved, and how this payment can be withdrawn if the USA and the UK again fail to implement the guaranties, say, during 10 years.
It will be interesting to compare such a prediction with future publications:
What will say, for example the people of Denmark and Greenland, when Donald Trump suggests them some «guaranty» in exchange for their land?

The observations of phenomena related to slogan Make America Great Again are collected and interpreted in TORI with scientific goals.
The interpretation is not an attempt to affect the politic of the USA, although the Editor should be glad to see the USA to be strong sufficiently to implement the Law - both the national laws and the international guarantees; in particular those of the Budapest memorandum.
In any case, Editor keeps his right to call things with their proper names to construct historic models and to compare their predictions to to observaitons (in particilrar to the a posteriori publications).
